About EVsBuzz.com
Welcome to EVsBuzz.com — an independent automotive publication focused on electric vehicles (EVs), hybrids, conventional cars, two-wheelers, charging infrastructure, fleet electrification and the wider transport-energy transition. Our mission is to give Indian and international readers clear, useful and trustworthy automotive information without the noise of paid promotion.
Who we are
EVsBuzz.com is a digital-first publication run by a small editorial team of automotive journalists, road-test contributors, EV owners, mechanics and data researchers. We are not owned by a vehicle manufacturer, a dealer group, an EV-charging operator, a fuel retailer or a leasing company. Editorial decisions are taken independently of advertising and sponsorship.
What we publish
- EV & car news — new launches, price changes, recalls, policy updates and industry moves.
- Reviews & ownership reports — first drives, long-term ownership notes, real-world range and running-cost data.
- Buyer guides — comparisons across segments, budget tiers, charging compatibility and use cases.
- How-to & explainers — battery care, charging at home vs public, government schemes (FAME, state EV policies), insurance, taxation.
- Tools — calculators (EMI, running cost, EV vs ICE comparison) and reference tables.
How we make money
EVsBuzz.com is supported primarily by display advertising delivered through Google AdSense and Google Ad Manager, programmatic ad networks, and occasional clearly labelled affiliate links. Ad placement does not influence editorial coverage, ratings or recommendations. We do not accept payment to publish positive reviews and we do not allow advertisers to preview unpublished articles.
All affiliate links are disclosed inline or in our Disclaimer. Sponsored content, if any, is labelled “Sponsored”, “Partner Content” or “Promoted” at the top of the article.
Editorial standards
We follow a published Editorial Policy, an Ethics Policy, a Fact-Check Policy and a Corrections Policy. Together these documents set out how we report, who we cite, how we separate news from opinion, and how we fix mistakes when they happen.
Our coverage principles
- Verify before publishing — we cite primary sources (manufacturer releases, government notifications, ARAI/SIAM/VAHAN data, court orders) wherever possible.
- Disclose conflicts — if a writer owns the vehicle being reviewed, has received a press loan, or has a personal interest, we say so.
- Mark opinion — opinion, editorial and op-ed pieces are clearly labelled and separated from straight news.
- Correct openly — every correction is logged on the article with the date and the change.
- Respect privacy — we follow our Privacy Policy and the GDPR Consent Policy for all readers.
Our writers
Articles carry a visible byline wherever a single author is responsible. Multi-contributor pieces, news desk wires and aggregated round-ups carry the byline “EVsBuzz.com Newsroom” with a list of contributing editors at the bottom. Every staff writer follows our Ethics Policy and signs an annual conflict-of-interest declaration.
Where we are based
EVsBuzz.com is operated from India and publishes primarily in English. We follow the laws of India — including the Information Technology Act 2000, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act), the Consumer Protection Act 2019 and applicable IT Rules — and recognise data-protection rules of jurisdictions our readers visit from, including the EU/UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and Brazil’s LGPD.
