The USA’s best-selling mid-size SUV Toyota RAV4, is ready to launch for the 2026 Model year. Toyota has clearly disclosed its specifications and features for the new model with a completely redesigned interior and exterior.
Apart from this, Toyota has declared that it will be the 6th generation RAV4 with completely electrified trims. Now, all-new Toyota RAV4 2026 trims will be electrified with a hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid powertrain. And the most important this all-new RAV4 will also have a GR Sport trim, which has the capability for rugged driving in off-roading.
There are lots of changes that will be seen in this new 6th generation RAV4, such as new exterior styling, a luxurious and spacious interior, a larger battery pack for long electric driving range with PHEV model, the latest and advanced Toyota Safety Sense 4.0, and many more features.
This new generation Toyota RAV4 2026 will have more power, more range, and a more attractive look than ever before. Toyota has disclosed that this new 6th generation RAV4 will be able to generate up to 320 HP from the PHEV trim with an All-wheel drivetrain. And this PHEV trim will be capable of running up to 50 miles on a complete electric mode while the previous one was just able to go up to 42 miles. So this new one will have better electric range and an outgoing model.
As well as its hybrid trims will also be able to produce up to 236 HP with the AWD trim and 226 HP on the FWD System. It is important to note that the RAV4 is coming first time with a FWD system.
So this new 2026 Toyota RAV4 will be completely different from the previous model. The pricing of the new RAV4 2026 is likely to start higher than the previous model. According to the report, its pricing could start at around $34,000 to $51,000/. And it is likely to be available in the market in late 2025.
