Specifications
The Lexus ES presents potential buyers with a variety of powertrain options to suit their preferences. Starting off with the ES250, it is equipped with a robust 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, producing an impressive 203 horsepower. Notably, all-wheel drive comes as a standard feature for the ES250 model. On the other hand, all ES350 trims are fitted with a potent 3.5-liter V-6 engine, delivering a remarkable 302 horsepower.
This power is efficiently transferred to the front wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. As for the ES350h trims, they feature a hybrid powertrain that combines both gasoline and electric components to provide a net output of 215 horsepower. A continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) and front-wheel drive are standard for the ES350h models. During our testing at the track, the ES350, powered solely by gasoline, exhibited impressive performance by accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.1 seconds.
